These terms are between you, the Shopify store that installs Catchly, and Canuckt Synergy Solutions Inc., Bedford, Nova Scotia, Canada ("we"). By installing Catchly you agree to them.
The service
Catchly adds an AI sales chat to your store. It answers shoppers from your store's products, pages and policies, hands chats to your team, and collects the emails shoppers choose to leave. You can switch the AI off at any time.
Your responsibilities
- Keep your store information accurate. The AI answers from it.
- Check the answers you write with Fix this answer. The AI gives them as written.
- Use Catchly lawfully and tell your shoppers about it in your own privacy policy.
AI answers
The AI is built to answer only from your store's information and to hand over to your team when it is not sure. Like any software it can still be wrong, so you remain responsible for what your store offers and sells. Catchly does not change orders, issue refunds or create discounts.
Plans and billing
Paid plans are billed by Shopify on your Shopify bill and start with a 14 day free trial. There are no extra or usage charges. You can change or cancel your plan at any time from the Plans page. Uninstalling the app ends billing.
Data
How we handle data is described in our privacy policy. Your data stays yours. We never sell it and never use it to train AI. A data processing addendum is available on request.
Availability and changes
We work to keep Catchly available but cannot promise it will never be interrupted. We may update the app and these terms. We will not redesign your chat without your choice, and we will tell you about important changes to these terms before they apply.
Liability
To the extent the law allows, our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid for Catchly in the 12 months before the claim, and we are not liable for indirect or lost profit damages.
Catchly and Shopify
Catchly is made by Canuckt Synergy Solutions Inc., not by Shopify. We are solely responsible for Catchly. Shopify is not liable for any fault in Catchly or any harm that may result from installing or using it. Except where Shopify expressly says otherwise, Shopify cannot help with installing or using Catchly; for help, write to support@catchlychat.com. We are solely responsible for any liability that may arise from your use of Catchly with your store data.
Ending
You can stop at any time by uninstalling Catchly. We may suspend accounts that misuse the service. Your data is deleted 48 hours after you uninstall.

These terms are governed by the laws of Nova Scotia and the federal laws of Canada that apply there. Questions: support@catchlychat.com.
